Xbox 360 Afterglow Controller DriverAfterglow Xbox Controller Driver Windows 7 Download
Hi all,
My Xbox wired controller is not working with my games. Drivers are installed (official ones from the microsoft website), device manager recognises it and confirms drivers are installed as well. I went to test the controller on joy.cpl and there are two controllers - Controller (Afterglow Gamepad for Xbox 360) Controller (Xbox 360 for Windows) The afterglow one responds when I test it in properties however the 'Xbox 360 for win' one does not. Also device manager states there are two controllers, however the names are the same but the location is different. One is located at Port_#0007.Hub_#0003 and the other is located at Kinoni Virtual X360: #01 The Xbox button in the centre works on the win desktop, asking me if i want to open the game bar. The controller light up and tells me i am player 2. I am running win 10. Regards, Amir Xbox Controller Driver Windows 7
Hiya, my name is Evan. My Xbox One controller doesn't work on Windows 7. When I plug it in, it says the driver was not found.
Here is everything I have tried: *Updated my windows fully *I tried to update drivers by going into device manager and having windows find a solution (it didn't find a solution) *I tried to update the drivers by downloading the Xbox controller drivers from the Xbox catalog called AMD64 and X86 or something along those lines. I have extracted both of these with WinRar and right clicked on the .inf and hit install. It gave me the error, 'The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation.' I also extracted the files and put them in a folder. I then went to device manager again and browsed for the folder instead. I selected it and it said it couldn't find the drivers even though the only thing in the folder was what I extracted. Please help me, I want to play Dark Souls 3 with a controller!
